At the end of the year it is really motivating to look back how many things were done and achieved, and it worth to share it well with the team who achieved these results. This is a template that can be used for year-end reviews, it offers also some fun ways to collect the events of the year and recognize the team, maybe creating a well deserved, friendly festive atmosphere.

„What I have learned this year” exercise for „low workload” days at the end of the year  For those who work on X day, when the workload is low  Summarize and send me the same day „What I have learned this year” A summary about what you learned, from the courses you went to. The aim is to give an idea or maybe some guidance to others for the courses/possibilities for next year, as well as get the best out of this day.   The format can be: very simple, just a few senteces, or can be very creative (a poem, ppt slide(s), a song) or anything in between. The writer of the most creative/nicest summary will receive a small prize and can present the work on the next department meeting (optional).

„Let’s see what happened” exercise to review the main business events of the team     Form 4 groups. Each group will represent one quarter of the year Each group will receive 3 pieces of paper with some information (small details from the monthly reviews, about some milestones achieved) Discuss within your group which month the pieces belong to, within your quarter (in max. 5 minutes) Let’s see and check together if we managed to put together what happened this year!

„Let’s see what happened with you” exercise to review the main personal events of the team     Form 4 groups. Write a poem, draw or write or act out a story or a tale incorporating one remarkable moment, achievement or nice memory from the year from each of you. It should be one story, and each of you should incorporate – so that we can properly recap the year from a personal point of view Let’s see and check together if we manage to put together what happened to you this year
