Introduction WorkTracker is an application which has been custom designed to track and manage man-hours spent on projects and assignments. It redefines project management and teamwork with online task tracking and team collaboration. It helps you to track multiple projects, teams and team members for Project estimation and Project Billing purposes.

Adding a Timesheet

Select “Add Timesheet” option under Timesheet menu. This will take you to the “Add Timesheet” page 1. Select Project from the dropdown menu 2. Select Date from the calendar control. Current date will be selected by default. 3. Enter total time in hours for which you have worked on this project on this date. 4. Select the type of activity that you have done for this project on this date, from the dropdown menu. 5. Add description of your activity in the text box 6. Add comments if any, in this text box After filling in all necessary information, click on “Save” button to save this timesheet

WorkTracker at a glance for a Development/QA Lead This feature enables you to generate a report. It helps you to track different activities of any team member project-wise and time-wise (of which you are the Dev/QA Lead). You can also view the report thus generated in a Report Viewer and download it. View Reports Dev/ QA Lead You can change your WorkTracker password. Development/ QA Lead Workflow In this workflow, all features are the same as those available to a Regular User. The additional menu available to a Development/ QA Lead is “ Dev/QA Lead ” with the feature to “ View Report ”. This feature has been described in the next slide.

Dev/ QA Lead Workflow Viewing Report 1. Select Project from this drop down list 2. Select the User name whose activity you want to track from this dropdown menu 3. Select the type of activity of this User that you want to track 4. Select the Month & Year of this activity After filling in all necessary information, click on “Search” button to generate the report. The report will be thus generated… You can also view this report in the Report Viewer by clicking on this button. You can filter and generate reports from here To print a report: Select a format from dropdown list Click on the indicated icon to download the report To print reports, click on this icon

PM/ PL Workflow The additional menu available to a PM/PL is “ Manager ” with the following features: Add User Assign Projects to Users Assign Projects to Dev/QA Leads Assign Activities Add Activity View Reports These features have been described in the next slides.

PM/PL Workflow Adding User 1. Type the User Name of new user 2. Type the password and confirm it by typing in again in the next text box 3. Type in the E-mail of the new user here After filling in all necessary information, click on “Create User” button to add this User

Assigning Projects to Users Only the selected Projects will be available to the Users when they log into WorkTracker PM/PL Workflow 1. Select User name from this dropdown menu 2. Select the Project/s from this list, that you want to assign to the above selected user Now click on “Save” button to assign the selected projects to this User

PM/PL Workflow Assigning Projects to DEV/ QA Leads The selected User will be made the lead for the projects assigned to him. These Projects would be available to him when he logs into WorkTracker as a Dev/QA Lead. 1. Select User name from dropdown menu whom you want to designate as the Dev/ QA Lead 2. Select the Projects for which you want to make the above selected User as the Dev/ QA Lead. Now click on “Save” button.

Assigning Projects to DEV/ QA Leads

The selected User will be made the lead for the projects assigned to him.

These Projects would be available to him when he logs into WorkTracker as a Dev/QA Lead.

PM/PL Workflow Adding Activity The activity added would be available in the existing list of all activities. 1. Enter name of new activity that you want to add to the list of existing activities Now click on “Save” button to update the list of activities.

PM/PL Workflow Assigning Activities The activities assigned to the selected Project would be available to the Users when they log into WorkTracker. 1. Select Project name from this dropdown menu 2. Select activities from this list that you want to make available for the above selected Project Now click on “Save” button.

Admin User Workflow Adding a Project This would add a new Project in the list of existing Projects 1. Enter name of new Project that you want to add to the list of existing Projects Now click on “Save” button to update the list of Projects.

Admin User Workflow Marking a Project Inactive This would make an existing project inactive and hence it will be no more available in the list of existing Projects. 1. Select Project from list of existing Projects in this dropdown menu 2. Add comments for making this project inactive. Now click on “Delete Project” button to make the above selected Project inactive.
