Change document views

Navigate in a document with Document Map & Thumbnails

Change margins, page orientation, & paper size in a document

Format pages at the Page Setup dialog box

Insert a page break, blank page, & cover page

Insert page numbering

Insert & edit pre-designed headers & footers

Insert a watermark, page color, & page border

Find and Replace text and formatting

Change Document Views View tab, click desired view OR Draft View Print Layout View at lower right of window Full Screen Reading View

Draft and Print Layout Views Page Break in Draft View Page Break in Print Layout View

Full Screen Reading View You can close by clicking the Close button or by pressing the Esc key.

Keyboard Use in Full Screen Reading View Press this key to Complete this action Page Down key or spacebar Move to the next page or section Page Up key or Backspace key Move to the previous page or section Right Arrow key Move to the next page Left Arrow key Move to the previous page Home Move to the first page in document End Move to the last page in document Esc Return to previous view

Navigation with Document Map Click this heading to go to it then check the Document Map check box Click the View tab

Navigation with Thumbnails Click this page to see it Click the View tab Click the Thumbnails checkbox

Changing Page Setup Change margins Change orientation Change page size Show Page Setup dialog box

Changing Margins Click Page Layout tab, then Margins Default margin settings Custom Margins opens the Page Setup dialog box
