What exactly is SEO
What is exact definition of SEO SEO is short for Search Engine Optimization. Search Engine Optimization can be defined as a set of strategies and techniques used to increase the visibility of your website, webpage and therefore to increase the amount of visitors to your website.
Every day people use search engines to find relevant content on the Internet and some of the most popular search engines are Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft’s Bing (Google is by far the most popular search engine).
There are two kinds of search results: Organic Search Paid Search Organic search is the primary product of search engine. This kind of search is found on the left hand side of the search engine result pages (SERP’s) and this search is also called Natural search as it is not paid for. Is exactly what the name says: it is paid for and it also known as Paid Per Click (PPC) advertising. Advertisers pay bid for placement. This search is found on the right hand side or on the very top of your search.

SEM is based around very important concept key words or key phrases. This is what you will enter when searching for particular product or service – for example like yoga mats as in the image to the right. According to Wikipedia, SEM is a form of Internet Advertising that involves the promotion of websites by increasing their visibility in search engine result pages (SERPs) through optimization and advertising.
When optimizing your website content for commonly used keywords or key phrases, you will need to build the list of these words. These lists can be created for the entire website and than it can be broken down to each page. You will find some suggestions on the following pages…..
Your keywords need to be easily understood by the users
Each page should be optimized for two or three key phrases
Don’t forget to optimize your Social Media and using descriptive file names and captions. For example, videos are not considered a duplicate content so place as many as you can visually
Don’t forget the links. Inserting links will give you ability to direct your users from one page to another. They can be internal (within your website) or external links (connecting your user to a different page on a different website). Link building is relationship building.
Not all links are equal. Some sites are more trusted than others and their links are worth more. Be a trusted site and connect to the same.
Apparently, 71 % people trust organic search. If they trust you, they might have your URL (Unique Resource Locator) at their home page.
There are two types of changes you can make to your website: Off Page (or off site) and On Page (or on site):

The number of unique visitors and repeat visitors to your site will increase
The number of referrals to your website will increase
Traffic from the major search engines to you website will increase
The final result: successful and profitable website
