The system will facilitate DoD Program Manager, participating agency, and DoD Dog Training Center management of MWD requirements, resources, production, and quality improvement. Primary functions include procurement, veterinary support, mission evaluation, training progress monitoring, certification, distribution, and worldwide inventory control. The system will also monitor MWD mission readiness and employment while assigned to field units. We designed a logical data model based on the Legacy Data Dictionary that everybody approved. We defined application modules and created a standardized relational schema that everybody approved. Legacy Data Quality Audit discovered two important pieces of business information that were not in the new database design! “Dog Training Site” “Next Planned Course” Why? Because Data Quality Analysis is the only way to get a comprehensive inventory of your business rules!
