Bridging The Gap Computers connected to high speed internet connection power large monitors at the venue where the event is occurring. Management Team Adam Broitman Adam is the Director of Emerging and Creative Strategy at Morpheus Media where he works on high-profile accounts such as A&E, NYU, The New York Times, IFC and L´Oreal. Adam is also the founder of mixed reality entertainment network, Virtualive.tv Adam holds a B.A, in English from Queens College as well as an M.A. in Media Studies and a certificate in media management from The New School University. Raman Kia Raman’s interests in the music business led him to launch Wild Honey, an independent music company that partnered with Universal Music, Interscope Records and Sanctuary Music Group on a variety of projects. Joining Morpheus in 2005, he successfully established the company’s operations and human resources platform, identifying and cultivating new talent. He’s helped the company grow from five employees to more than 30 in the last year. Raman’s interests in the music business led him to launch Wild Honey, an independent music company that partnered with Universal Music, Interscope Records and Sanctuary Music Group on a variety of projects. Joining Morpheus in 2005, he successfully established the company’s operations and human resources platform, identifying and cultivating new talent. He’s helped the company grow from five employees to more than 30 in the last year.

Raman holds a degree in English with honors from the University of Surrey, U.K., and a master’s degree in International Marketing Strategy from the University of London.

Management Team Nexeus Fatale Nexeus Fatale exists in two worlds, the virtual where he performs as an online DJ, creates tools for other online DJ's and interacts with the online media, and the real world, where he performs as a DJ in bars and clubs. Nexeus's DJ career began in early August 2002 with a net based radio station called GridStream Productions under the name "DJ Nexeus".  Starting as their hip-hop DJ, joining GridStream was a dream come true, having the ability to express and touch people with music by playing it for them.  Nexeus Fatale was officially born in late August 2003, entering the world of Second Life with every intention of Djing for those within the platform.  Today he is a board member on several projects, including the The Future United, Inc. who runs the Second Life Community Convention, and Virtualive.tv , as well as performing weekly in Second Life in a variety of places, including The L Word, the high., and Scion City.

His vision is to help independent artists get their music out by having them play live shows in concert halls, while simultaneously beaming those shows into virtual worlds like "Second Life" and getting advertisers to sponsor the feeds. "I'm trying to empower indie musicians to have a much wider reach than they ever could before," said Broitman, who had his first experiment with the concept on May 10, when the band Buddhahead played a live show at New York's Canal Room that was streamed into "Second Life." Fans "attending" the concert in "Second Life" were able to watch both live webcast footage of the show and the band's avatars while chatting with fellow attendees online, while those at the venue could manipulate the avatars on a pair of plasma screens set up in the club using a Wii controller. But Broitman said he foresees a time when audiences will not only control the cameras in a virtual world, but buy virtual-only remixes, merchandise (like exclusive virtual T-shirts for their avatars), virtual albums and other online-only gear. "I think the idea of cross-media stores, where you can get an album in real life and another extension of it in the virtual world, is great because it's just more for people to consume." So what does all this mean for you? That a world of music — and even a world of live music — will soon be coming to you, no matter where you are. You won't even have to leave your seat. That white umbilical cord tying your music library to a PC will be cut by your music-enabled phones and pre-loaded iPods (until they're replaced by music-enabled phones).
