 UNICEF strives to provide vital services to save and improve the lives of children in more than 190 regions around the world. Typical services that the organization provides include health care and immunizations, clean water, emergency relief, and education.

 Recently, former soccer star and current UNICEF global ambassador David Beckham traveled to the Philippines to meet children survivors of Typhoon Haiyan. In addition to interacting with the children, Beckham saw firsthand UNICEF's emergency work and the efforts of the organization to give children a sense of normalcy. With close to 6 million children affected, UNICEF and David Beckham are showing the world the impact that donations to UNICEF from individuals like Rao Chalasani can make in the lives of the children and their families.
