The rule of thumb that you should follow is the 80-20 rule. You give your viewers 80 value and 20 product recommendation. This will let your audience to believe that you truly care about them and not only trying to sell them a products or services. Get this right and you will be successful in video marketing. slide 33: Mistake 4: Leaving out CTAs You might be thinking “dude you already point this out previously what’s the deal”. My friend I will remind you again and again about this because Call to Action is that IMPORTANT. If you don’t provide your viewers who might be interested to learn more about you by leaving a button to click URL to visit or even a number to call you have lost one or more potential customers and they will most likely won’t take any action from watching your videos. Such a huge waste right If you agree with me then don’t forget to include CTA into your videos okay Mistake 5: Focusing on only one platform Due to laziness a lot of video marketers are content on posting their videos on a single platform. The most famous one is Youtube. I used to be one of those marketers until I learned from a course that my fellow Youtuber recommend on his channel called “Video Breakthrough Academy” more about this course later that you could expand your influence few times broader if you just post your videos on various platforms such as Facebook Tumblr Twitter Pinterest Daily Motion and hundreds of other video sharing sites on the internet. When I implement this knowledge to my video marketing strategy my influence grown like crazy. I cannot explain my surprise of this strange phenomenon but one thing I do know is you need to be smart and utilize every single video sharing platform you can get your hands on to increase the exposure of your videos. This task is time consuming but surely worth it. However since I understand that some of us don’t have much free time on their hands to do those stuff I recommend you outsource it to somebody else. My personal recommendations are Fiverr.com. Fiverr is a platform where the top freelancers are gathering to provide services like submitting videos to 30-50 different video sharing sites for as cheap as 5. I am not kidding guys 5 for doing all the heavy lifting for us. PS: You should know that you can also use Fiverr to create your videos for you. From my experience the quality of the high-rated gigs is really good. Some of them are professional level quality. Even though I slide 34: recommend you to create your own video but for those of you who are not comfortable being in front of camera or have difficulties with English language Fiverr is probably worth considering. Mistake 6: Build and Forget Bruce Lee once said “I do not fear a person who practiced ten thousand kicks once but I do fear a person who practice one kick ten thousand times” This quote resonates with me as a video marketer. If you have the assumption that in order to be successful in video marketing all you need to do a produce one crazy awesome video get tons of views and forget about it then you are an idiot. Please forgive me for being so emotional here. I SINCERELY want to help you to be a successful video marketer. Maybe one day we can even attend the same exclusive conference for top Youtubers in the world. In order to make this mission a reality I need to stress that you need CONSISTENCY if you want to become successful in video marketing. Let this be the one message you get from this report if you wish to forget anything else. Putting up average video content once a week is better than creating one high quality video that exceeds the biggest production company in the world and then forget about it. I have created countless number of videos in order to get to where I am today.
