Tourette's Syndrome is a neurological disorder where a person has tics, both verbal and motor. It may be caused because of problems in how the nerves communicate in the brain. It is not contagious because it is inherited or happens while developing in the womb. More guys than girls have the condition.

The main symptom is tics. Examples of verbal tics: throat clearing, clicking sounds, sniffling, yelping, shouting Examples of motor tics: eye blinking, head jerking, foot stamping When under stress, tics can become more severe, frequent, or longer. Other symptoms: ADHD, OCD, learning disabilities, trouble sleeping
