Emma is a board member of Leeds Media. Nigel Charlesworth Nigel was formerly head of PR at Green Flag and business-to-business insurer UKI Partnerships – part of the Royal Bank of Scotland. He is a full member of the Chartered Institute of PR and a Diploma holder. The brief included an extensive media relations campaign, which placed ECS as one of the country’s leading school meal providers. Smart prepared and delivered a media relations and promotional plan using internal claims statistics, customer case studies and making an expert spokesperson available for interview. Slide 16: Manchester Eve News Case study: Solaglas : Case study: Solaglas The B2B glass specialist gave us a wide-ranging brief that included trade and regional media relations, advertising, award submissions and sponsorship The company wanted to announce a rebrand, while highlighting the breadth of services it provided to clients in the insurance, retail, and public sectors Smart implemented a campaign that included media relations and marketing. The agency also negotiated sponsorship, wrote advertising copy, bought media space, produced press information and created a media library Case study: Pace Microtechnology : Pace is a leading technology developer for the global payTV industry. With the acquisition of the Philips STB business, the company seized the opportunity to deliver key messages to its employees situated across the globe. The result was a corporate publication conceived and written by Smart who interviewed key staff, commissioned design and managed the project from start to finish under strict deadlines. Case study: Pace Microtechnology Slide 20: Case study: MSL Group MSL is one of the UK’s largest independent legal expenses providers and sister company MSL Vehicle Rental a credit hire and fleet management specialist. Smart manages a proactive and reactive press office function for MSL including media relations, briefings, photography, copywriting, reputation management and sponsorship.
