The month of love is here and while some bloggers bash Valentines, I've got a different idea. Though it can be rough on singles, I know I'm there, it is also a month of opportunity...

Those single among us fear facing the world as an individual on a particular day this month more than any other.

Inferiority complexes abound… And yet, it shouldn’t be this way! Maybe it’s just me, but I believe love is beautiful. Not just romantic love, but the ethereal experience of letting love permeate every aspect of your life. A loving relationship with yes a partner if you have one, but your friends, family, your work, your art, your body, and your very being. Let Love Permeate Your Life! Ok, I get it, love of the romantic variety is more what this month is typically about. That’s important and that’s ok. But, I would like to suggest we take a step back and look at the bigger picture and opportunity that stands before us. Is it possible that we could use this month of February to expand our view of love? Could we possibly SEARCH POSTS incorporate that feeling of security, joy, and excitement into every day? Search Search Don’t get me wrong; despite my view of scary relationships growing up and my stubborn independence since, I’m a hopeless romantic at heart. I still believe in happily ever afters and adore seeing couples in healthy, respectful relationships. I think it is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What if you felt the exhilaration of a first kiss by doing something kind for someone who could never repay you? What if your heart skipped a beat, because for the first time in a really long time you truly felt the sun’s warmth and saw the world around you in a new light? Like a child seeing the world with young fresh eyes, look at things differently. Look at things, well as if you were in love, from your heart not your head. Use this month to experience a time and place that has never been and never will be again. A time to embrace your life the way it is with the courage to enjoy it! And, think about it, how much more attractive is someone who knows who they are and is in love with their life! It’s infectious! So much more attractive than someone seeking someone else to make everything ok! Just saying… Embrace the moments from a heart filled with love and gratitude. And whether you are in a romantic relationship or not, find someone to share your joy with. Send some love to yourself and let it overflow to partners, friends, children, and even strangers!
