Does this high-protein diet really help a person lose weight? After watching a documentary on people who engaged in this approach -- they did report weight loss, but with a catch. Some reported a foul body odor and high blood pressure as a result of taking this diet. Others felt fatigue. This diet seems to either work or fail to work -- what do you think? Have you tried it?

What is it? ➔ The Atkins diet is a low-carbohydrate and high protein diet. This approach to losing weight was created by Robert Atkins. It is based on the premise that by eating high protein animal foods, a person can fill their stomach and keep it full for longer. This would also help to restrict carbohydrate intake.
