This is the second oldest temple of Khajuraho which survived, the first one is Chausath Yogini temple. These both Temples are made of granite and the Lalgaun temple is made on the bank of Lalguan Sagar lake . The Chaturbhuj temple in Khajuraho is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, where the name Chaturbhuj means ‘one who has four arms’. This is the only temple in Khajuraho where you will not find any erotic sculpture during your  Golden triangle holidays .
