CanVAS® Consent Manager™ To address privacy concerns over location sharing and to offer a complete solution that can address charging related consent management requirements, Telenity has developed CanVAS® Consent Manager™, which stores and enforces permissions rules across the usage of service enablers (such as Location, Charging, Messaging) and provides subscribers a means of managing their permissions. CanVAS® Consent Manager™ provides an operator with a flexible and powerful means of requesting and obtaining consent from subscribers for services to be charged. CanVAS® Consent Manager™ also enforces marketers to inform subscribers about how their location information will be used, disclosed and protected so that the subscriber can make an informed decision about whether or not to use the service and/or give consent to location sharing and the receipt of such communications.

Product Overview CanVAS® Consent Manager™ introduces an intermediary layer between the subscriber and third-party applications to give them access to service capabilities in a controlled manner. Consent Management typically involves the following two categories: Charging consent refers to informing the subscriber about a charging related operation initiated by a service. Location consent refers to informing the subscriber about a location operation initiated by a service. Feature Summary Network Integration: Integrates Messaging Gateway and Location Gateway. Exposes APIs to integrate with CRM systems and Customer Care. Consent Channels: Supports SMS and USSD Channels. Consent Message Templates: Offers message templates that can be customized per delivery channel and language. Delivery Management: Supports configurable retry period and maximum retry count. Reports: Provides a rich set of reports. Transaction History Stores all transactions in database with channel, message, service, date, and time information.

CanVAS® Consent Manager connects directly to core network nodes for different consent channels (SMS, USSD) using industry standard interfaces via Messaging Gateway and Location Gateway. CanVAS® Consent Manager also exposes APIs to simplfy network integration. Customer Care and CRM systems can call the APIs to update subscriber’s preferences.
