Conclusion and Suggestions • The main Telecommunication challenge in Pakistan is to multiply the number of lines • And to introduce high technology products to compete with the high speed growth in the world for prosperous in the country • Pakistan’s global ranking in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has been downgraded from 102nd in 2012 to 105th in 2013 • Despite the fact that in Pakistan Ministry of Information Technology was headed by two former prime ministers Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf, the country was unable to show a remarkable improvement in the country’s ICT development. • There is still a long way to go for Pakistan telecom industry. Pakistan needs to increase telecom research and development work within the country.
