TEAM KIDPHONE (Available Christmas ’09)

INITIAL CONSIDERATIONS A kid-centered approach that exploits the four key mindsets of young people – “exploration, expression, exchange, and excitement” Reduced functionality in comparison to the current iPhone (i.e. no need for business applications) Greater concentration on texting, gaming, music, and pictures A simplified phonebook feature so that parents can restrict access (to save on minutes, for greater safety, etc)

TEST RESULTS… Overall, the functionality tested well. For one group, the tagging function was of great interest to the participants so additional prototype screens were prepared.
