Why Use Movie Segments? : Why Use Movie Segments? Act as prompts for tasks, such as ordering and sequencing events. Extend students’ attention span. Students enjoy taking a break from traditional reading, writing, and grammar classes. Present language in a way that is often more natural than that found in course books. Provide fantastic visual context aids, boost listening, and students love them.
