Launched in 1972 as the world's first twin engined wide body. It was the first product of the Airbus consortium of European aerospace companies, wholly owned today by EADS. The A300 ceased production in July 2007,along with the smaller A310. Boeing 777 The Boeing 777 is a long range, wide-body twin engine airliner built by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. The Boeing 777 has flown the longest unrefuelled distance for a commercial airliner. It is one of the aircraft used for some of the world’s longest scheduled airline flights. A device used to breath pure oxygen during fire fighting. It is used only for first aid purposes Life Vests : Life Vests It is automatically inflatable vests which is found under every seat on board a airline. It is used as a flotation device during ditching. It is present for every soul on board aircraft. Fire Extinguisher : Fire Extinguisher Its a portable device that discharges a jet of liquid, foam, or gas to extinguish fire Oxygen bottle : Oxygen bottle Portable oxygen available on board for use during emergencies Its available with face mask for fire fighting Megaphone : Megaphone A large cone-shaped device for amplifying and directing the voice. It is hand held loudspeakers used by the crew to reach out their voice to the passengers during emergency situations Radio Beacon : Radio Beacon A radio device used to give out signals during emergency. It works when it comes in contact with water. It could be found in waste bins and in slides or rafts harness : harness A set of straps and fittings by which crew fastens and secures the seating as seen in The picture. Evacuation : Evacuation In any kind of emergencies the passengers and the crew should be evacuated within 90 seconds from the aircraft.
