SSIPL Retail uses Microsoft Dynamics to reduce costs and resources by 30%
In the highly competitive world of Retail, information and agility are key factors of success
Established in 1994, SSIPL Retail is a speciality retailer with 400+ outlets of premium international sports and lifestyle brands.
Headquarters in Delhi, SSIPL owns 5 manufacturing facilities employing 6,500 professionals.
SSIPL was using old and outdated technology with multiple stand-alone applications that had severe limitations
Leaving the company facing issues like Lack of MIS and dashboards for business critical information Manual data entry and analysis Lack of control on legacy applications No interface with ecommerce of mcommerce

To change this situation, SSIPL after evaluating many options chose Microsoft Dynamics for Retail.
With Microsoft Certified Partner, Acxiom Consulting, SSIPL moved 250 stores to Dynamics AX first and then switched to Dynamics for Retail in 2013.
And immediately took advantage of new capabilities: Streamline inventory for faster access 30min data sync to always stay up to date Better tracking of operations
Soon the Dynamics solution was handling over 1 million transactions per day presenting a 360 degree view
With seamless flow of data from one business process to another, real time and role specific BI dashboards.
And adding efficiencies with data from the store, warehouse and goods in transit available at the head office centrally
Resulting in cost savings of approximately INR 50 lakhs (U.S.$100,000) per year spent on third-party solutions and vendors
In the next phase, SSIPL will integrate planning, budgeting, CRM, m-commerce and HRMS modules
And move their remaining 150 stores on to the new solution by April 2014, adding another 300+ users.
Making sure that people and processes work together to ensure maximum sales and value.
