St John’s from its humble beginnings in the late 1800s has endured many trials over the years. Some congregations may have given up when their first new church was locked up for four years, but St Johns, who will celebrate its 120th year in 2016, has been a strong, viable church in providing its members with the word of God as its foremost goal.
