Triglav 2864 m, the highest mountain in Slovenia. Despite its name (“Three-headed”) it has only two peaks. The name originates from Slavic god Troglav. First reached in 1778. The shadow of Triglav covers to the half of Slovenia land in summer.

Rakov škocjan Karst phenomenon. The Škocjan cave is under UNESCO world heritage. Its highest underground canyon is 150 m high. The temperature in the caves (Škocjan and Postojna) is constant, 8,2 o C.

Postojna cave The Postojna cave has its own underground railway since 1872. With its 20 km passages, galleries and chambers is the most visited cave in Europe. Slovenian ground is like a cheese – with more than 8000 karst caves. Stalactites grow for 1 mm in 10 years.

Carniolan bee - “Kranjska sivka” The worldwide known hardworking bee is “Kranjska sivka”. It is an authochthon Slovenian bee and second most broadened in the world. “ Kranjska sivka” is peaceful bee with good orientation, it collects honey mostly in forests and does not eat a lot in winter.
