SEQOHS Accreditation www.seqohs.org  It is an independent, clinically led third party assessment of an OHS  Its a fee paying scheme run by the Royal College of Physicians of London on behalf of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine  It assures that an OHS is complaint with SEQOHS standards

SEQOHS Standards What standards are used?  On 13th January 2010 the SEQOHS standards were launched  There are 13 standards in 6 domains: A. B. C. D. E. F. G. Business probity Information governance People Facilities and equipment Relationships with purchasers Relationships with workers NHS Standards © 2010 by the Royal College of Physicians, SEQOHS Office.

First Steps..        Download SEQOHS Accreditation document…free. Look at the structure and set up of your business. Evaluate what you do against what the domains require. Don’t be scared…not all of it applies to small providers. Come up with a gap analysis list of policies/procedures etc. Set timescales to complete project. Attend SEQOHS preparation day.

What sort of evidence do you need to have for SEQOHS?        Insurances.. Records of qualifications and registration. Signed contracts in place. Clinical audit process. Clinical policies and procedures. Feedback process from clients. We should all have these anyway?
