Prototype: Idea has taken shape into a prototype and developed Established: My submission has been already developed and used as my mini project . Scaling: The innovation submitted has been accepted by my professors and it is under up gradation. Idea Prototype Established Scaling The Innovation: The Innovation Summary of the innovation needs to cover the following titles: Chosen industry: 3) Public Services Chosen technologies: Analytics Objective security of data than any other algorithm Approach breaking the security is as difficult as a 8X8 Rubik cube Describe the innovation developed a encryption and decryption algorithm called Rubik’s Cipher which uses a symmetric key from the user and provides confidentiality to the data from other users such as hackers and eavesdroppers Rubik’s cipher is a very complex algorithm taking the block size of 512-bits at a time with a facility to have key length of variable size. Practically solving a Rubik’s cube is a very difficult task. Here a replica is created and thus makes its place as one of the complex algorithms like DES, BLOW FISH, IDEA, AES. The complex algorithms like DES, BLOW FISH, IDEA, AES may be deciphered with in 3 days and its complexity is not more than n2(n square) but the Rubik's complexity is n3 (n cube). Which is an exponential greater than the previous algorithm. Maximum Points: 20 Impact: Impact expected impact of my idea : As I already developed this project the impact of security is positive and is capable of facing possible threats of data leakage and exposure so that even the hacker gets your data its hard to get hold of original data. metrics: Many algorithms may be deciphered with in 3 days and its complexity is not more than n2(n square) but the Rubik's complexity is n3 (n cube). Evaluation for success of the innovation : It is already developed and made proved it self successful even after immense testing sustain over time: It has proved its success genuinely but the project is under up gradation from encryption of data( text ) to image data protection.   Maximum Points: 30 Implementation: Implementation Maximum Points: 50 Rubik’s implementation: Rubik’s implementation Xor operation : the data and key are taken and first 64-bits of key are xored for every 64-bits of data. The operation used for encryption is XOR using the key. The key is divided into 8 words where each word is of 8-bits i.e., K 0 , K 1 …. K 7 . Each word of the key is XORed with a row in the 8x8 Matrix. For E.g.: Sub-key K 0 is XORed with the 1 st row of the Data Matrix. Rubik’s implementation: Rubik’s implementation Zigzag permutation : the output of xored data is taken and diffusion of data is done based of certain rule. The bits are arranged in the form of 8*8 matrix format Rubik’s permutation : all 8-8*8 matrices are formed because of the data constraint. These 8 8*8 matrices are arranged one after the other in a 3-D manner. Rubik’s cipher is a very complex algorithm taking the block size of 512-bits at a time with a facility to have key length of variable size.
