Databases differ! Not all databases provide access to full text of articles. Find American Libraries in “Library Literature and Information Science.” Select any article and see what is available. Find American Libraries in “Academic Search Premier.” Select the same article and compare with LLIS results. Review How Do I Get My Article ?

Searchlight Searchlight can help you get started! Let’s look for an article with the word “Googlizers” in the title.

Remember… Searchlight only searches the databases listed (see previous slide). To search other databases, use the links in Indexes and Databases (select by subject or alphabetically). You can mark and e-mail search results to yourself so you don’t have to recreate searches.
