Because not many people are regular on SL, for Social Networking, people resort to Facebook etc. For Personal Use, people generally take Dial Up Internet or 256 Kbps Broadband. It doesn’t give the performance required to immerse people in SL. For a lot of people, SL Client won’t even be supported ! The concept of 3D Internet still hasn’t become popular among the common people.

More Indians are becoming aware of Virtual Environments. More Indian Companies are entering the Virtual World. There has been a significant rise in the popularity of Social Networking among people of different demography. The Good Graphics laptops are becoming cheaper and have found a big market in India. The broadband connection is becoming cheaper and Indians are embracing the change.
