• My target audience are young adults aged 16-25 mainly male gender, but it will be aimed at male gender who listen to hip pop and rap music. This group of people will be people who have an understanding in the music industry, and people who are educated. • I will also aim my magazine at people who are socially interactive, meaning they like to be update and like to know the latest gossip on music artists as well as rap and hip pop music in general. • My target audience will be people who listen to artist like Usher, Chris brown, Rick Ross, Justin Timberlake, drake, ymcmb etc. • I will target people who already read magazines like XXL, VIBE and Billboard because my magazine will be based on the same sub genre as these magazines. Why I have chosen this target audience….. • I have chosen this group of people as my target audience because I listen to rap and hip pop music, I know what people want from a music magazine as I am apart of the target audience group. • These artists are the people that I listen as well as look up to, so I could feature these people in my magazine as they fit the music genre. • I could make my magazine so that it fits the target audience by making it look mature and understandable for modern day young adults.

Elite - the most privileged group in the UK, distinct from the other six classes through its wealth. This group has the highest levels of all three capitals Established middle class - the second wealthiest, scoring highly on all three capitals. The largest and most gregarious group, scoring second highest for cultural capital Technical middle class - a small, distinctive new class group which is prosperous but scores low for social and cultural capital. Distinguished by its social isolation and cultural apathy New affluent workers - a young class group which is socially and culturally active, with middling levels of economic capital Traditional working class - scores low on all forms of capital, but is not completely deprived. Its members have reasonably high house values, explained by this group having the oldest average age at 66 Emergent service workers - a new, young, urban group which is relatively poor but has high social and cultural capital Precariat, or precarious proletariat-the poorest, most deprived class, scoring low for social and cultural capital Information taken from the internet source bbc on social structure

According to the UK social classing structure my magazine would be aimed at the New affluent workers . This is because the people in this social group has a high score for emerging culture, which includes going to gigs/concerts, using social media and playing sports. Also this social group has a secure income which means that they can afford concerts and tours . ETHNICITY & RACE My magazine does not influence certain type of people. My magazine is aimed at all races. My magazine challenges what other hip pop/pop magazines do, as you would tend to see many black people on the front covers of hip pop/pop magazines. I have used a white person on my front cover to show diversity and make my magazine different from others. n
