What media institution would distribute your magazine? Multi-national media company headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. Worldwide circulation of Bauer’s magazine titles amounts to around 38 million magazine sales per week. The Bauer Publishing Group comprises 300 magazines worldwide in 15 countries, as well as TV and radio stations. Bauer Verlagsgruppe has offices located all over the world, they are located in the following countries - Germany, USA, Spain, France, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Mexico, China, Russia, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Nigeria & Australia.

Bauer Media Publishing Company - Bauer produce many different types of magazines, ranging from music, women’s, sports, TV and gossip. They produce a total of two music magazines, those being Q & Kerrang. Both of these magazines specialise in similar areas of the music magazine market. That type being indie, rock and alternative. Kerrang is more specific to rock although they do specify similar qualities.

Why would Bauer Media be appropriate for my magazine? - Although Bauer Media already have two music magazines on their market, they both specialise in the same area. That being indie/rock and alternative. - Bauer Media would be perfect for publishing my magazine as they don’t have any others like mine included in their market. My charts magazine would not effect the sales of their other two magazines Q & Kerrang as they are not targeted at the same area. My magazine is more mainstream and would therefore be good for those who are interested in popular culture which is a big thing now in the 21st century. - They are an extremely popular and successful publishing company and a partnership with them could only result in a increase of sales and a broader range of magazines for them.
