Sending the package : Sending the package MUST Buy a heavy-duty envelope Create a cover letter Create a list of all docs included Follow the order suggested on the ITA Use a reliable courier – most members use FedEx and DHL GOOD TO HAVE Create a cover page for each section What’s next : What’s next As soon as your application has been accepted for processing, an acknowledgement letter will be sent containing either the name and contact details of the officer looking after your application, or the likely date that an officer will be available to assess your application.  In the acknowledgement letter, you may be asked to provide any further information or documents.  They may also return the original documents like birth certificates at this stage. The work involved in processing the application typically involves: checking your application against immigration policy requirements assessing whether you are a bona fide applicant assessing what benefits or potential risks to New Zealand are involved verifying any information and documents you have provided confirming details of your relationship with your partner or family members
