Relaunch Guidelines

Photographers Guidelines SpottinStyle  gives  the  power  back  to  the  people  to  decide  what  is  stylish  to  wear  by  simply spotting   styles  as  they  see  it.  People  are  able  to  inspire  and  be  inspired  while  having  fun  in  a global  style  competition.  SpottinStyle  allows  to  create  new  style  trends  daily  and  at  the  same time  create  infinite  opportunities  to  shop.  We believe  in changing the way fashion is dictated and giving  the  power  of  fashion  back  to  the  people  with  our  simple to  use  App and website. So start spotting! SpottinStyle  gathers  a  global  network  of  photographers  in  the  fashion  capitals  of  the  world  who spot  the  most  stylish  people  on  the  planet.  This  creates   an  amazing  opportunity  for photographers  to  work  directly  with  brands  and  partners,  and  to  promote  their  work locally  and globally.

Opportunities ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Global recognition Lots of fun spotting styles Connect directly with people on the streets Promote their work on a global level Connect with Brands, Partners, Bloggers Photograph fashion events as SpottinStyle photographers Commissions from introductions and sales Requirements ● ● ● ● Creativity Source of stylish people (major city center, fashionable areas & events) Digital camera / iOS phone Passion for spotting styles

How to spot styles Photographers  hand  SpottinStyle  logo  cards  to  the  people  photographed.  A  simple  and  quick sentence  such as  “Excuse me  please,  can  I take  a photo of you for a fashion website?” handing the  logo  card  simultaneously is  enough  to  get  the  people  excited.  The  coolest  and  most  stylish people  will  love  it  and  will  definitely  check  the  website  to  see   their  photos.  We  encourage photographers  to  spend  an  average  of  2 hours per week in a great location to get a good volume of   photos   (based  on  our  previous  site).  Below  is  a  snapshot  of  the  card  (these  can  also  be customised with your own details). By   spotting  styles  and  handing  SpottinStyle  logo  cards  to  style  setters,  photographers  are promoting  their  job  as  a  photographer  locally  and  globally.  Style  spotters  or  aspiring photographers  can  also  work  together  with  brands,  partners  and  event  PRs,  spotting  stylish people that share a mutual interest in their products, events, etc. There  isn’t  any specific fashion predefined. SpottinStyle  wants to catch the daytoday inspiration that  people  put  into  their  outfit.  We  are  looking  for  you  to  spot  the  stylish,  fashionable  and  edgy people.  However,  we  do  not  want  paparazzi  photos,  photos  taken  from  behind  or  without  the consent of the person being photographed. The  SpottinStyle  site  is  a  competition  in  which  most  loved  photos  and styles  are featured in the galleries  and  in the  front  page  of  the  website.  That  creates  an  amazing  global  exposure  for  our best  photographers.  Photographers  will  be  able   to  upload  their  photos,  create  their  own  style galleries and be followed by millions of people. + Photos = + Visitors = + Exposure

Incentives ● The  most  loved  photos  are  featured  daily  on   the  front  page  in  a  980  x  420  frontpage banner with the name of the photographer and link to the profile/gallery ● Direct engagement with partners, brands and event PRs No  monetary  compensation is given immediately on the site relaunch. The SpottinStyle business model  is  to  link  products  with  style  photos.  However,  it  is  part  of  our  strategy  to  share  revenue from  sales  with  our  best  photographers  and  look  makers  as  soon   as  sales  pick  up. Photographers  can also get commissions from introductions to brands and partners that may be interested  in   featured  style  competitions  through   our  platform.   Please  speak  to  us  for  more details about the new site. Terms and Conditions The  photographers  agree  that  all  photos  uploaded  will  be  published  on  the  website  The  photographers  have  the  right  over the  photographs. Once registered on  the   new  website,  all  users  and  photographers  agree  to  the  general  terms  and  conditions  of use. Please seeandconditions *** “Every day, every minute in the world, a new style is born. Be the first to spot it!”
