Political Economical SOCIAL FACTORS Social Technological Legal Environmental • Sense of distrust among people • Huge unbanked population • Opening bank account is considered inconvenient • Success of SMEs requires more access to formal banking via informal channel • Huge population working in RMG sector tends to see mobile banking as an easier mode of transferring money to rural area • M-Financing is considered more convenient for transferring remittance

Political Economical LEGAL FACTORS ENVIRONEMTAL FACTORS Social Technological Legal Environmental • Only bank-led model of M-Financing is approved by Bangladesh Government • Limit on P2P transaction of taka 10,000 per day and 25,000 per month • M-Financing requires less physical infrastructure and thus has less adverse impact on environment
