RAFO C295 Full Capabilities Set-Up • In April 2016, took place the final successful acceptance of all the deliverables included in the contract with the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). • Airbus Defence & Space provided full support for the deployment of the RAFO fleet (4 C295 MTA & 4 C295 MPA) in two main operating bases. • Also full training capabilities were delivered and set up on the field, including Mission Support Centre, Full Flight Simulator and a Full Mission Simulator. • An Airbus Defence & Space team, comprising of aircraft and training technicians, was deployed on-site in 2013 and will keep providing support under the contract until mid 2017. 41 MTA: Military Transport Aircraft MPA: Maritime Patrol Aircraft
