Which Ones are scientific? A book (www.trafford.com/09-0265) by George Grebens (PhD)

Which steps underlie the scientific method? 1/2 There are dozens of ways for defining the ‘scientific method.’ But only two options that underlying these definitions. Option A: 1. Start from today’s conditions, processes, and rates 2. Through statistical progression, use the simple-to-complex (primitive-to-modern) process; (allow long ages for statistical progression) 3. Use reductionist filters – closed system, and exclude open system that are designed to introduce external participating or creative forces 4. Affirm contemporary reality (#1)

Which steps underlie the scientific method? 2/2 Option B: Begin with the existing 3D Management Model – ‘certainty’ warehousing Identify and resolve ‘uncertainty’ by using specific decision-making & problem-solving tools (DMPS) – the scientific method. This ‘uncertainty’ can be inside or outside the 3DMM. Process search through history, standards, codes and the remaining stages of the DMPS as it resolves the challenge Identify the hypothesis(alternatives) and the theory (quality guarantee) within the ‘uncertainty’ that need to be tested for certainty and quality guarantee (DMPS).
