Phase 1: preparing for the OERu prototype 2012 Phase 2: official launch of OERu in 2013 Phase 2: Building staff capability 2014 + Build OER awareness Use OER for course development of online courses and promote OER resources to academic staff Introduce OER into a main stream programme – Business Continue to promote staff development through Wikieducator courses Institutional readiness Get SMT support Revise our approach to programme and course development from content to engagement /e-tivity focus Review and change IP and RPL policy to be OER friendly Contribute OER courses Develop an OER management course Convert the course we have contributed from Moodle to Wiki format Develop capability OCL4Ed and eL4C52 Wikieducator workshops for key staff involved in the pilot. Promote Wikieducator workshops to all. Embed open format and standards in our e-learning standards/ guidelines. Develop library pages pointing to OER Continue staff development via Wikieducator.
