Description

Northcott’s Battle of the Blab is on and it’s going to get rough!

Pitting some of Australia’s favourite sporting commentators and media personalities against each other over three rounds of hot-topic debates, this event will give you the inside scoop on Australian sports and the controversies that surround it. Expect below-the-belt comments, eye brow raising statements and jaw dropping reactions!

Panellists include:
• Mark Cashman - Wide World of Sports Rugby Union commentator and Editor of Inside Rugby magazine
• Johanna Griggs - Former Commonwealth Games swimming champion and Channel 7 sports presenter
• Felicity Harley - Editor of Women’s Health Magazine and Sunrise program regular
• Tom Harley - Two-time AFL Premiership winning captain of the Geelong Cats and Channel 7 Commentator
• Steve Mortimer OAM - Rugby League legend and former Channel 7 and Fox Sports commentator
• Rale Rasic OAM - First coach to take Australia to the Soccer World Cup finals and former SBS commentator
• Debbie Spillane - The ABC’s first full-time female sports commentator and current host of ABC Grandstand

Master of Ceremonies
• Craig Norenbergs – Head of ABC Grandstand

What will ‘Casho’ say when asked if Rugby has an image issue? Who has more pride and will fight for their sports right to claim Western Sydney’s favourite sport out of NRL’s Steve Mortimer and AFL’s Tom Harley? How will Johanna Griggs make her point in the always controversial topic of whether it’s harder to make it in as an individual sports star versus as part of a team?
