We are a licensed, non-profit organization located in Westampton, NJ. Our purpose is to facilitate the process of positive behavioral change in our Community ! Our organization has four effective missions in the community: 1.) Behavior Support Services for children & adults- .2.) The Life Teachers 4 Life Outreach Program- school assembly presentations, and mentoring programs to school-based children that are considered at risk to enter the criminal justice system. 3.) Dignity Empowerment Network (Den) - transitional opportunities, and viable networks to individuals with criminal convictions, and records. 4.) Occupational Outreach Program (Olap) - occupational outreach programs to children effort to inspire a future career. We are expecting a huge “turn out” of attendees from all “walks of life.” Many of our attendees will be looking for new behavior health providers. The purpose of our expo is to connect Parents with special needs children to behavior health services. We will raise awareness of the resources, and services avail able to Parents. This applies to families right in our local area, and throughout New Jersey. Currently, we are marketing this expo within communities in the Delaware Valley area. As you know, this expo is a wise business advantage for you to attract new consumers, and clientele. In exchange for your support (volunteers), We are prepared to offer your organization the following: A. - we will place your official company logo on our event marketing material. B. - we will place your logo, and slogan on our website, and refer your community servic- es through our social media networks for 1-year. C. - we will refer consumers to you who desire at least one of your services. D. We will donate a reasonable amount of our proceeds to your organization from any fundraiser or do- nations that we receive within the next 12 months. Volunteer Opportunities These volunteer opportunities are needed for this non-profit, community event posted below(NJ Behave! Behavior Support Expo) on May 31st between : 10am-5pm. Please contact me, Troy (event coordinator) immediately so that I can fill these vacancies before: April 25, 2014, and pass this information onto my counterparts, and supervisor: 1.Janitors (2 positions available) – keep the two conference rooms clean, picking up trash around conference room, bathrooms(2), kitchen area, and hallway. Cleaning up spills or small debris in conference (Expo) area. Assist technical officer with lifting, mov- ing, setup, and take down of tables. Lifting may be required-up to 40 lbs. Report to Event Coordinator of any janitorial issues or needs for supplies-ie: toilet paper, napkins, cleaners; etc. Use of broom, mop, bucket, and hand cloth to clean is required.
Volunteer Opportunities 2.Event Security /Safety Officer (2 positions available)- monitor front door where local patrons, and event vendors will be registering to come into event. Monitor child play- ground located in rear of recreation center where children may be playing. Checking event passes, and assisting event staff with any unforeseeable circumstances-ie: emer- gencies, fire evacuation, event changes; etc. Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and re- sponding to a general emergency desired but not required. Event staff is licensed in first aid & CPR.
Volunteer Opportunities 3. Technical Officer – Assisting with vendor assignment of table designation. Providing general guidance of safe use of recreation center resources during event. Assist event staff in preparing recreation center for event, and restoring recreation center back to it’s previous state after event. Providing assistance to event staff with tables, chairs, kitchen usage, and basic functions of lights, and power. Assisting vendors set up their stands or presentation equipment –lifting may be required-up to 40 lbs. Inform Event Coordinator of any observed safety or technical issues during event. Basic knowledge of stereo, media equipment is required. General Maintenance is a plus but not required. 4.Parking Lot Security Officer: Provide basic guidance to cars of parking spaces avail- able in parking lot. Inform technical officer or event coordinator of parking issues out in parking lot or any seen from main road leading into parking lot. Encourage slow and safe speed to drivers. Guide local patrons out of street and onto sidewalk. Ensure that all parking vehicles are parked for Expo event. This position requires basic ability to use diplomacy, and space management to ensure parking lot safety.
Volunteer Opportunities 5. Marketing Assistant (5 positions available) – Passing Out event Flyers In The Com- munity To homes, elementary schools, high schools, colleges, local establishments, and commercial buildings in neighbor hoods around the volunteer’s residential area. Flyers will be provided to all Marketing Assistants on: May 2, 2014, and on: May 23, 2014 by Event Coordinator. Marketing Assistants are encouraged to contact Event Co- ordinator immediately to arrange a meeting location, date, and time to receive the event flyers for distribution. This position requires individuals who are healthy or in good physical shape to walk longer distances. 6.Door Screener- Reviewing free tickets of Parents & children to allow entry into expo. Allow local patrons entry to this event who do not fall in one of the categories indicated below. Screening tickets, and event badges of registered vendors to gain entry. Refer- ring teachers, educators, behavior health providers to ticketing agent by the door to pay their registration fees to gain entry. This position requires professional use of diploma- cy, and kindness to communicate basic event rules indicated above regarding tickets. Refer all issues, and concerns of local patrons, and attendees regarding tickets to the event coordinator.
Volunteer Opportunities 7.Food Prep Assistant- (2 positions available) – Assist Event Coordinator bring (cooked) food in from car, van or truck. Assist in setting up cooked food on table. Assist with basic preparation of cooked food to serve. Serve cooked food to event attendees who buy it at the table. Collect or assist with collecting small cash (monies) in exchange for cooked food. Assist event staff in taking down food table. Inform event staff or tech- nical officer of any unforseeble issues with food or food service. This position requires safe hygiene, and have basic experience serving cooked food in a small service capac- ity.

The address where the (NJ Behave ! –Behavior Support Expo (event)will be held is the: a. Westampton Recreation Center, 50 Springside Road, Westampton, NJ 08060 b. There are two large rooms to choose from that the Host may want to ergonomically position their tables. East Host can have one table, and no more than 3 chairs per host. Extra tables will require authorization from the Event Coordinator. Otherwise, Each Host shall not exceed one (1) tables per Host. c.The tables are white plastic utility tables that are approx.: 6ft. (L) x 30in (W). The large Meeting rooms are each approx.: 40 ft. x 40 ft. (Room #1), and 30 ft. x 40 ft. (Room #2). d.The kitchen is small (8ft (L) x 8 ft. (W) but is provided for set up only. No cooking allowed. e.Hosts may not use stationary media devices (projector), screen, stereo, microphone, video camera or any other type of stationary media devices at this event. The Building has regular power, and electricity but no media devices or telephone service. f.Food, and refreshments for the attendees may be provided by the Hosts. The Planner will not provide food. However, the Planner has requested or arranged for some local vendors to be present at the event to sell their foods (Subway, Panera Bread, Pretzel Factory, etc. These local vendors are indirect contractors of the Planner. 11. Important Dates a. The event date is: May 31, 2014. b. All Table & Host registration fees ($100 per table), and this event agreement (Pages:# 1 *) must be completed & signed, and returned to the Planner no later than: March 20, 2014 (no expectations). Hosts may pay the registration fee ($50) now or at the event, and will be required to do so to be admitted into the event. c. The event time is from: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. The time for Host set up are: 7:30 am to 8:30 am. The Host take down (disassembly) is at: 5:00pm -6:00 pm.
