Lobbying is:  Lobbying is The systematic effort to affect public policy by influencing the views of policy-makers whether in a state legislature, city council, government agency or any where else decisions are made that affect citizens and businesses. What do lobbyists do?:  What do lobbyists do? Lobbyists:  Lobbyists Serve as the voices of those they represent. Provide technical information and advice. Pull together opposing interests to negotiate compromise. Act as catalysts to keep policy-makers, allied groups, and the media excited about the issues of concern.
