Name_______________________ Date_______________________ My Lenten Road List Day Task Say thank you to whoever gives you your meals throughout the day (breakfast, lunch, 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. 19. 20. 21. 22. 23. 24. 25. 26. 27. 28. dinner, and snacks. Sit down with your guardian & ask them about their day. Even if they just went to work ask them about it still. Open the bible. The first section that you open read a paragraph. Think about it & see if you can relate it to how your day went or see if it connects on how your day goes. No matter what happens today. Don’t yell. Try to express your anger by calmly talking it out. Talk to that one person who is a loner, outsider, etc. Just say hi and ask them for their name and to have a good day.(sign of kindness) Today where ever you walk if you see trash/recycle on your path all day today. Pick it up and throw it to the nearest trash/recycle. Go on a 30 minute walk. Go with a friend or sibling. Talk & enjoy the beautiful nature we have. During any class(s) today if you see the instructor needs assistant volunteer. Help the teacher out. They appreciate it. Go to your guardian and/or a sibling(s). Ask them to forgive you for an action(s) you have done and hurt them in some sort of way. Today make lunch/dinner/snack for your guardian(s). Today if you run into anyone who is injured/handicapped. Approach them and ask them if they need assistant. Tell your closest friend(s) thank you for being there to support you. You can be specific for what times or just in general. Read Matthew 20:20-23. Think about Jesus limited power. Remember that God has the final words and makes the final decisions. Today say thank you to God for every good thing that happens throughout your day. Even if your day does not go as planned. Today sit down and write a short letter of the person(s) who you consider is very special to you. Express to them how you feel what they have done for you means. Today something(s) will go wrong. Maybe by accident or on purpose. Apologize to that person(s) Today turn off your computer/cell-phone, anything electronic after 3pm till the next day in the morning when you wake up. Spend some time with your family or friends with nothing to distract you. Clean up your room or make your bed today. Throw out the trash. Today go up to your friends and ask them what they think about God. Do they believe in them or not? If not, why? Listen don’t correct them. Today be home before 9pm. Pray the rosary for someone today. Call a family member and tell them thank you for something nice they did for you, even if it was just once. Pray the Apostle’s Creed today. Today pray before every food or liquid you consume. Thank God for the food he has given you and really appreciate the meal/snack. Pray to God today for those who have harmed you at school. Ask for them to know what they did was wrong and for God to help them figure it out. Read the 10 Commandments. Think about which ones you have broken this week. Ask God to forgive you and give you the strength to not make the same choices. Go to church & sit down and look around what the church has inside. How it is decorated it. If there is something you don’t know ask your teacher tomorrow. Pray. C NC
