Mother tongue and culture • Last year grades 2 and 3 learnt that culture is about the way people do things. • People who speak the same mother tongue often share a culture. • It's about food, music, celebrations.
Why do we care? • Our mother tongue is important • Even if we learn in another language our mother tongue or language is about who we are. • Respect your language and culture.
