Publishers, libraries, and associations are striving to keep up with the latest in publishing technology as well as end-users’ needs but keeping pace with new publishing technology can be difficult as well as expensive. Mobile apps are a perfect example of technology that more publishers provide and more end-users expect. Apps provide content in creative ways that go beyond the traditional publishing models.

The mobile market is trending to experience tremendous growth in 2014. Over the past year, our metrics indicate that the majority of users still use a desktop as primary access but tablet and mobile device usage continues to increase. For this webinar, sponsored by the Library Publishing Coalition, we’ll discuss the growing mobile app market, how publishers are entering this space, and the various functionality that can be offered.
