Creativity in business is essential to staying ahead of the curve, providing new and exciting services and products to the marketplace. However, the occasional brain freez e is imminent. Albeit inescapable, you can develop a creative process to help you churn out great ideas regularly and keep your creative juices in a constant flow. Here’s how… 1. Morning Medit at ion Get up early and t ake 20 minut es t o just sit and t hink. Start your day expecting success, inspired ideas and productivity. This seems simply crazy but… if you want your business to take off, meditation is the secret key—it will become your daily life changing moment! 2. Cult ivat e Your Desires You have an appet it e f or somet hing. There are desires pulling at you—and you probably think about them often. Write down what you desire your business to run like. What do you desire your business to provide for you? Turn those desires into goals, and intentions and add the pictures so you can frame your future. This process will also help you be excited and expectant about your future. 3. Journaliz e

To be effective you must have a gathering place for your creative expression and ideas. Invest in a journal that you love to use during this time. Draw, write and sketch your creative ideas. As you fill the pages with ideas, mementos and idea triggers, your journal will become your success guidebook for business growth. Here are a few things to put in your journal: Record experiences. Why did they stand out to you? When you are stalled on a project or business idea, get out your journal and start writing a strategy. 4. Take Pict ures Your life is worth capturing. Always carry a camera to capture ideas in the moment. Don’t stop there though— print and post them up for inspiration. Use great pictures to add to your newsletter and blogs! A picture really is worth a thousand words and more! My team and I take pictures of everything—book covers, displays, bathrooms, furniture, restaurants, magaz ine ads etc. So many of my events have been inspired by pictures I grabbed while on the go. Also you can start adding more interest to your life with the moments you capture in a photo. Think to yourself: “What can I do to make my life more picture worthy?” 5. Pull Tear Sheet s Hunt and gather ideas for your business, your blog, your product creations, and your talks, etc. Highlight things that jump out at you in a magaz ine. Pull out articles, pictures from magaz ines, captions or ads that can be used in your meetings to drive home a point. Also pull pictures that express your decorating ideas or may add impact to a discussion. Next, cut- out pictures and put them on your goal cards, prosperity wheel and in your Millionaire’s Dream Book to create custom visualiz ations to meditate on. 6. Read, Read, Read Information changes the seasons of your life. If you want quick, positive and permanent change to take place in your life, begin to flood yourself with new information. Grab a good book and read for twenty minutes. Reading is the number one common activity among highly successful people. The world’s best ideas, thoughts and strategies are printed within the pages of books. Between the covers of certain books are the answers to your pressing questions, clues to your next life adventure and keys to your next profitable project. Rediscover the joy of reading motivational and inspiring information. Books allow you to follow in the footsteps of high achievers and live in a world of unlimited possibilities. Are you surrounded by great books and equipped to create a new influx of increase? Take a look at your current library- do you have t he inf ormat ion t o ref erence f or t he next phase of your lif e? Make a plan to develop your personal library of success inspiration. 7. Your storyboard will save a preview to your coming attraction that you desire in your life. It allows you to envision a film, a part, a magaz ine spread, a clothing line, a conference, a house, a performance or a product display. Storyboards empower you to envision your project before production. Everyone should have a visual board of what they are trying to accomplish for the year. Collect pictures, words, crowd shots, uniforms, goals and more. Put up a corkboard and pin fabric swatches, textiles, photos, sketches, notes, cards, poems, quotes and any other written information that sparks you, on it. Your board is a constant inspiration for ideas and improvement. 8. Think in Themes Themes add meaning to our celebrations and help us to wow our guests with the outcome.
