Points to remember Keep your profile up to date Make it descriptive and useful What is your skill, expertise, USP? What successes have you had? Use the new ‘skills’ section Think about who you want to find you!

2. Connections Import from Outlook Select desired contacts only Enter Manually Linked In Toolbar Captures sent & received email addresses Suggests corrections to Outlook address book Prompts for follow up Network always up to date spot movers Be selective who you accept!

What is your strategy? Do you want a lot of connections? Do you want a few good quality connections? Connect to other connectors… Why do you want to connect? Who will be useful - industry? B2B, B2C ??
