The rules regarding environmental law are difficult to set as the whole world is affected by the earth's balance, what occurs on one side of the planet can affect the environment of the other side. The mission of laws set for environmental purposes are to create polices that will defend our environment, elements of which include land, air and sea, as well as noise, energy and waste. Environmental law is becoming increasingly necessary as elements such as global warming begin to take a bigger toll on the atmosphere. More recently, most of everything that gets manufactured has to comply with some level of environmental responsibility; these include things such as cars having to have a certain level of CO2 emissions. Sometimes individuals and companies take it upon themselves to consider the cost efficiency over the welfare of the environment, such as a company disposing of harmful waste wherever they can instead of paying for it to be disposed of safely. It has to be constantly updated in order to comply with new events and concerns that occur as the environmental state worsens. An Environmental lawyer comes into action when a law set under these acts is believed to have been breached. This could be to do with effecting wild life or waste disposal. An environmental lawyer often works with the general public when they are have been affected by an environmental or natural issue. Their aim is to help or even prevent environmental damage.
