Keep the faith of jesus (my dad’s life and death): Keep the faith of jesus (my dad’s life and death) (Rev 14:12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Rev 14:13) And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours ; and their works do follow them. (Rev 14:14) And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 1. Good Stewards of the Manifold Grace: 1. Good Stewards of the Manifold Grace (1Pe 4:10) As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God . (1Pe 4:11) If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen . (1Pe 4:12) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you : (1Pe 4:13) But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy . (1Pe 4:14) If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified . (1Pe 4:15) But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters . (1Pe 4:16) Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf . (1Pe 4:17) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God ? (1Pe 4:18) And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear ? (1Pe 4:19) Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator . 2. Thou Art My Praise: 2. Thou Art My Praise ( Jer 17:5) Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD . ( Jer 17:6) For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited . ( Jer 17:7) Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is . ( Jer 17:8) For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit . ( Jer 17:9) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it ? ( Jer 17:10) I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings . ( Jer 17:11) As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool . ( Jer 17:12) A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary . ( Jer 17:13) O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters . ( Jer 17:14) Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise . 3. Those Things That Are Pleasing: 3. Those Things That Are Pleasing (1Jn 3:13) Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you . (1Jn 3:14) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death . (1Jn 3:15) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him . (1Jn 3:16) Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren . (1Jn 3:17) But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him ? (1Jn 3:18) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth . (1Jn 3:19) And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him . (1Jn 3:20) For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things . (1Jn 3:21) Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God . (1Jn 3:22) And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight .
