A “separate segregated fund” of MAPPS, filed with the Federal Election Commission A fund that uses individual (not corporate or association) funds to make campaign contributions to candidates for Federal office A legal, ethical and professional way for geospatial practitioners to increase the community’s clout in the political process What Are the Rules?:  What Are the Rules? INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE PAC An individual may contribute up to $5,000 per year to a Multi-candidate PAC (such as MAPPS). PAC CONTRIBUTIONS TO CANDIDATES A Multi-candidate PAC (such as MAPPS) may contribute up to $5,000 per election cycle (2005-2006) to a Candidate’s Committee. What Are the Rules?:  What Are the Rules? Individual, personal contributions (no corporate funds, no partnership or unincorporated firm funds if a Federal contractor) No MAPPS funds can be used U.S. citizens only Contributions are voluntary How Does the PAC Work?:  How Does the PAC Work?
