Jerome Conlon – Short Bio Jerome Conlon is the president of Brand Frameworks, LLC, a business consultancy that focuses on developing brand growth insights and then translating them into marketing strategy. Brand development always starts on the inside. Jerome first looks through the lens of internal culture and marketing practice before devising strategies for growth. Jerome’s career experience spans a range of brands and industries. He was Global Director of Marketing Insights at Nike, Inc. when annual sales grew from $860 million to $6.6 billion (1986 – 1996) Jerome initiated and defined this position within Nike and participated in a number of Nike’s brand repositioning efforts (women’s, outdoor, basketball, running, apparel, kids; Nike Europe; Nike Asia; Nike Latin America); Jerome was VP Brand Planning, Marketing Insights and Category Development at Starbucks Coffee Company (1996 – 1998) and; Senior VP Marketing and Program Development Research at NBC Entertainment (1998 – 2000); and CMO at Internap Network Services (2000 – 2002). Brand Frameworks was formed in 2002 to offer companies guidance on how to achieve growth while enhancing brand positioning for long term success. Brand Framework engagements cover all phases of traditional marketing and brand management including planning as well as creative and strategic consumer insights project work with innovative products, services, marketing communications and brand storytelling. Brand Frameworks can provide clients guidance on how consumer insight research can be more effectively utilized and aligned across all organizational processes. Jerome has 30 years experience in categories that include: new media; automotive; entertainment; health care, beverages; financial services, retailing, real estate, education, sports footwear and apparel, quick service restaurants, internet services, consumer electronics, Online marketing platforms and services. He is a (magna cum laude) graduate of Gonzaga University 1978 in Economics & Accounting and in 1980 with a Masters in Business Administration.
