Mumbai •The capital of Maharashtra state. • It is the most populous city in India, and the fifth most populous city in the world. • Mumbai earlier known as Bombay. • The city was renamed Mumbai in 1996. • Mumbai is the financial, commercial and entertainment capital of India.

Portuguese church The church, built in 1596, was rebuilt in 1651 and again in 1914. The present structure, designed by famous Indian architect Charles Correa, was constructed between 1974 and 1977.
The Haji Ali Dargah was constructed in 1431 in memory of a wealthy Muslim merchant, Sayyed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, who gave up all his worldly possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca.
Kolkata • Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is the capital of West Bengal. • First arrived in 1690, and to British India, of which Calcutta became the capital in 1772. • (There were 3 villages named Sutanuti, Govindapur & Kolkata. Hyderabad (Pearl City) The capital and largest city of the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. • Area: 650 km² • Founded: 1591 • Population : 6.81 million (4,010,238 ) According to 2011 census.
Tourist places • Charminar :- Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah, the founder of Hyderabad, built Charminar in 1591. Four graceful minarets soar to a height of 48.7 m above the ground. Charminar has 45 prayer spaces and a mosque in it.
Mecca Masjid The Mecca Masjid, so named because the bricks were brought from Mecca to build the central arch. The Qutb Shahis never finished the building of the mosque, which was completed by Aurangzeb in 1694.
Golconda Fort Golconda was originally a mud fort, which passed to the Bahmani dynasty and later to the Qutb Shahis, who held it from 1518 to 1687 A.D. The fort is famous for its acoustics, palaces, ingenious water supply system and the famous Fateh Rahben gun.
