HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Human Resource Management is that field of management which has to do with planning, organizing and controlling various operative functions of procuring, developing, maintaining and utilizing a work force in order that the objectives for which the company is established are attained as efficiently and economically as possible.

 .

 Planning is the process of thinking about and organizing the activities required to achieve a desired goal. Planning involves the creation and maintenance of a plan.

 Organizing or Organi zing in management refers to the relationship between people, work and resources used to achieve the common objectives (goals)

. .  After an organization's structural design is in place, it needs people with the right skills, knowledge, and abilities to fill in that structure. People are an organization's most important resource, because people either create or undermine an organization's reputation for quality in both products and service.

 A basic management function that includes building an effective work climate and creating opportunity for motivation, supervising, scheduling, and disciplining.
