Jaipur • Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan in Northern India. • Founded on 18 November 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. • Jaipur is known as the Pink City of India.

Demographics • As of 2011, Jaipur had a population 3,646,590. • Jaipur is the 10th largest city of India according to census of 2011. • The Hindu population accounts for 74%, Muslim 20%, Jains 4.5%, Christians 0.5%, and Sikhs 1.0%. • 47.49% people lived in rural areas, 52.51% lived in urban areas.

Jal Mahal • Jal Mahal is a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The palace and the lake around it were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber. • Architect: Sawai Pratap Singh

Albert Hall Museum • It is the oldest museum of the state and functions as the State museum of Rajasthan. • The building was designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob and was opened as public museum in 1887. • It is also called the Government Central Museum
