Example RBLs (Realtime Blackhole Lists) Public and Private regulation of Information:  Public and Private regulation of Information Public regulation – regulation on a sector while having a governmental involvement. Gatekeeping Mechanism – Tool or technology used to carry out the process of gatekeeping.
