culture LD = proto-typing learning for mass delivery HE = bringing knowledge to maturity e.g. LD as a new knowledge domain. No established ways of transmitting. No defined learning outcomes. No established audience. The current discussions are part of the review and refinement process. cf. this to e.g. language teaching
